Saying that he has heard from Mario that Smith has "given him [Mario] up his engagement with you," that he has also heard that Smith positively will not open Her Majesty's Theatre that season, and adding that there is still time for Smith to engage Ciampi; otherwise he will expect the money for his traveling expenses.
